Welcome to ICC’s Science, Drone & Robotics camps: June 2nd to Aug 15th, 2025
CAMP BROCHURE
JOIN CAMP YOUNG INNOVATORS FOR A SUMMER OF INNOVATION, FRIENDSHIP AND FUN!
Camp Young Innovators offers a themed, STEM-focused (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) camp experience with a blend of academic, enrichment, and movement activities each week. With an emphasis on innovation, the camp provides a dynamic learning environment where students learn, explore, create, and grow.
Theme: DIY Engineering Camp
This DIY Science workshop provides all the materials needed to build a wireless remote control car and an electric train. A fun and engaging STEM project, it’s perfect for kids aged 8-12.
Participants will assemble the models using 3D wooden pieces, creating the full working mechanisms. Once built, the cars can be painted and decorated, making each one unique. The finished models are great for displaying on a table, shelf, or in a child’s bedroom, playroom, or study area.
Kids will feel a sense of pride as they see their creations come to life and actually move. Through building the remote car and electric train, children will develop important skills like hand-eye coordination, creative thinking, and physical and intellectual growth.
Theme: Explore Drone Camp
The coolest intersection of STEM learning and fun. Kids get a taste of cutting-edge technology and learn about problem-solving, engineering, design, and more! Working in teams they will build their flight path and watch in wonder as their drone takes off, then navigate through an obstacle course designed by them. They’ll learn about drone tech and safety, and discover how drones can save the world by fighting bushfires, rescuing koalas, spotting sharks on the coast, and loads more!
Benefits & Goals: Understanding Drones and the art of managing them.
Theme: Robotics Camp
Building Robots:
This is a robot building project for kids ages 8-14, including 4 robot models with unique features and functions:
– Coin Swallowing Robot
– Car Pulling Material Cart Robot
– Balance Control Robot
– Rope Climbing Robot
It’s an excellent STEM science project for kids interested in robotics. Each STEM robot project is independent and kids get to keep their robot and enjoy with friends and family. The robot provides perfect stem activities for kids. By assembling pieces, motors, circuits, gears, shafts, and screws in our workshop, children will learn basic STEM science and improve hands-on skills, enhancing their self-confidence and creativity. They are learning by Playing!
Theme: Science camp
DIY Science Camps offer fun, hands-on, self-paced activities that immerse kids in the world of science through exciting projects. Each week, children can explore a variety of experiments across chemistry, physics, biology, and engineering, such as making volcanoes, building balloon cars, investigating liquid properties, experimenting with density, and learning about fire and purification. They’ll also create invisible ink, explore the properties of milk, craft rainbow wheels, and more. These activities foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for science. This flexible and affordable option is ideal for parents looking for an engaging, at-home learning experience for their children.
Note: Each Science week will be different from other weeks.
